Okay boys and some girls (I don't hate. Love a gear head girl). Back on track. I have the fortunate yet unfortunate opportunity to rebuild my truck top to bottom. Yay (except lot of work lot of money. Hey its paid for). I have all kind of upgrades planned for this ride. When its its done It should roll over that half million mark in style. Besides Audio/Video upgrades (I already know what i'm doing there and its going to be bad ***) what is some recommendations. Thinking about a steering column replacement. Can it be down without huge amounts of trouble? The dash is going to be getting leather wrapped. About to be sent to Texas unless I come up with something else. I read one guy doing a 3rd generation dash transplant but he had more problems with it too than I would like. Steering Wheel Upgrades. Found a company that does OEM steering wheel upgrades as in leather wrapping and carbon fiber coating. I don't know. Or maybe loose the airbag and get a billet steering wheel. Someone please give me some ideas. While I am going through all this hard work and rebuilding I want to do some cool and unique things. Love to hear back.
