Default Zeekxxx, question for you...

What have you concluded in regard to the magnetic oil filter wrap? I figure by now you have changed your filter, did you cut it open?

hey zeekxxxs. if you are going to cut it open. i would use a big tubing cutter that way there are not chips in there from the saw cutting it.

Ahhh funny you should ask. Im deployed in Norway right now and I just was browsing through my laptop and found my maint records for my truck...

It is time to change the oil! And you bet Im going to cut that sucker open and post up the pictures. Ill bet my left nut there is something in it. I might even make a video of it so everyone can see I didnt add anything...

Ill be back in germany wed and I think thats a good weekend project.

Not to mention I havent added a pictures to my ram section on my website and Im feling bad about it..

As to open...

Im going to pop a hole in it with a can opener and use metal snips to cut the bottom off.

I am very concerned about letting metal shavings in it. My wifes dodge intrepid needs a change to so I have two chances...

Expect something this weekend.....
