Since the 2500 sit taller than than 1500s could one swap the leaf springs and coils easily to achieve the 2500 stance?

In the front, you can take the front coil springs from a 2500 and put them on your 1500 and add a little height.

 

This is partially wrong. You cannot swap the leaf springs directly. You could put the 2500 hangars and shackles on. And then weld 3in perches on.

But thats kindve stupid.

It would be much better to swap out the rear axle, then you just have to change the hangars and shackles.

but yes it cannot be done "easily"

 

Right, it's not an easy, bolt on fix.
