Is the governor pressure solenoid the same design across the 1999-200x model 46re transmissions? I understand the harness changes in 2000 and the governor pressure sensor changes in design but I am getting mixed messages regarding the Governor pressure solenoid. I have a 2000 dodge ram 46re and I would like to install a known good solenoid from a 1999 model 46re but I am unsure about compatibility.

 

All of the 4XRE series transmissions use the same governor solenoid, Chrysler part #4617210......No problem at all in using the 99 in a 2000....goodluck !!
