Default Code P0171,1297 and P0121

Have a 1997 Dodge 1500 3.9. New factory fuel pump 2 years ago.
Was driving on interstate, when I let off the gas to take an exit, the check engine light came on. Code PO171. I changed the MAP sensor. The 90 degree hose on the sensor was like new. Reset code. Now the new code reads 1297. I wiped out the throttle body above the butterflys, used some brake ckeaner, but not too much, just some black grime, I thought I would remove. Looked all around for vacuum leaks, all looks fine.
Was noticing the rpm was fluctuating as I held the throttle steady.
Took the truck for a ride and was hesitating when I stepped on the gas and back fired some. Finally at stop light it killed and could not get it started. Pushed it to side of road and finally got it started and barely got it home, hesitating and back firing and little power.
Did the brake cleaner ruin the TPS?
Did my fuel pump just decided to go out?

0171 - lean condition
1297 - no change in MAP

i doubt enough brake cleaner got into the TPS to hurt it.
you have a lot of sudden changes. CEL's, hesitation, stalling, backfiring.

i'm also bothered that you didn't have a MAP CEL, then you changed it, then with new MAP you got a P1297 that you didn't have before. this suggests the new MAP might be faulty.

i'd start over. clear the codes. put the original MAP back on. verify no vac breaks.
P0171 can be leaking vac or leaking plenum gasket.
