I have a 95 ram 1500 4x4 and i have seen on other threads that 95 and older is (rh) hydraulic control and 96 and up is (re) electronic controlled. so i know i have a rh but do i have a 46rh or a 47rh, is one a 1/2 and the other a 3/4 ton.

 

46rh/e were In all 1500 and v8 2500.

47 is the diesel/v10 auto.

 

so i have a 46rh

 

I believe that with you having a 1995, it's a 46rh. I think the 46re started in 1996. My 1997 has the 46re.
