ThIs is the # I came up with PK52119514aa-1149-7135. I'm looking at just getting a used one but I want to make sure in getting the right one and I'm also wondering if I should get a new torque converter for it and if so is there anything I need to know for that. Call the dealer parts department and get build sheet for your truck, their free. It will tell you what you need to know.
As far as convert goes MonteC the resident tranny gooroo on here recommends precision of new hampton converter.http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...w.gopnh.com%2F Also read thru his thread so you have idea of what to get in a rebuild or to add to your used one to prolong the life of it, being used and all.

There's a link around here to get your build sheet via email. As far as the transmission goes, I'd take it to a reputable place and have it inspected. Could be something simple but a pt 300k, I would suspect it's rebuild time. They can rebuild the existing torque converter.
