Default Will clutch fit 1990 to 1997

So, I highly doubt it, but i figured it was worth a try. I bought a clutch kit for a 1990 w150 4 speed w/ granny low. It turned out i didnt need the clutch for the 1990, but now i need one for a 1997 ram 1500 w/ nv3500 5 speed. My dad said that he thinks the pressure plate and throwout bearing went bad, and it makes an awful noise. Will the clutch kit for the 1990 fit the 1997? I highly doubt it, but figured id ask. Already bought it. So input would be appreciated. And i didnt know whether to post this in 1st gen or 2nd gen.

If the engines and transmissions are the same, maybe.
