Post Fog lights?!? Help

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 and it didn't come with fog lights nor the grey piece to install them, also I have the stock headlight switch (doesn't have pull to turn fog lights on). I am wanting to put fog lights on, ordering the grey piece and fog lights but the only problem is I would like to change the switch also to make it work like normal... How hard would this be to do??

Have you checked to see if the wiring harness is there to add the factory lights? Someone will chime in. Changing the switch is not hard at all. It's the wiring I'd be concerned about. Might be easier to run separate wiring to a separate switch.

Check around the area where the factory fog lights mount and see if there is a harness hanging there. At least you would know that factory wiring exists.

Also check the PDC too to see if it is wired for the fog light relays.

Don't all second gen Ram harnesses come with those connectors? I may well be wrong, but I'm under the impression that they do. Now I'm curious.

On the passenger side it will be clipped to the core support facing up under the headlight.
