axle tube diameter

Default axle tube diameter

pretty simple question ..is the axle tube diameter on my 2500 the same as a 4wd i measured 3.5 inches reason asking thinking of putting a lift block in and everything listed is 4wd plus the fact I thought i read somewhere there were 2 different axle diameters

I'm guessing you have a Dana 70 so yes 3.5". And they should interchange, but it's possible the taper will be wrong and you won't have a good driveshaft angle. How much do you want to lift it?

I was only going to put a 1 inch lifting block… I put in a 2 inch leveling kit on the front and needed to raise the back so I had a slight rake.. Is there something I could check for the taper…

1" shouldn't change the angle enough to worry about.
