Default distributor

I got a rebuilt short block coming soon an I want to know what you guys think about using my same old distributor if it's a bad idea or not

If its in good shape, by all means, feel free to use it again. When I replaced my engine a few years ago, I did install a reman'd distributor, as my existing distributor was sloppy (had a wobbly shaft).

What short block did you get?

And as Atomic said as long as yours is in good shape you can reuse it. If not get yours rebuilt or buy a reman one.
