Question On Plug Wires
To those of you that have 8 or 8.5 mm performance plug wires: I was looking at MSD and Accel wires today, and they are "universal" sets. I haven't found anything tailor made for my truck. I have read on the forums that the wires have to be routed exactly the same as the factory routing, or else you create problems with misfires, etc. Did you guys use the universal sets on your trucks, and can you get them routed correctly with no problem???

RE: Question On Plug Wires
I have run into a problem similar to your that I addressed in this thread: https://dodgeforum.com/m_298441/mpag.../tm.htm#298594
I have a misfire on #6, rough idle at warm up, and leaking from under the intake, which I attribute to the intakge gasket being bad. I followed the TSB instructions for plug wire routing here:

RE: Question On Plug Wires
here's the p/n for the MSD's MSD-32189 from summit racing. this is what I have on my truck and it's made for the 318/360's. My plug wire routing has not caused me any problems with pinging, however lately I have an aftermarket coil that is not mounted in the stock location.
