Default variable RPMs

I have a 2001 Ram 360. When I get between 60 and 65 mph the RPMs jump around about 200 -300 rpms. I have replaced the TPS but nothing changed. Has anyone else had this trouble and know what I should try next?

your TPS sensor is noisey causing your torque converter to lock and un-lock. get a new one and you'll be good to go.

Did you reset the computer after replacing the TPS? If not - try that. I assume the TPS replacement was recent.......

My 99 does this, surges around 2200 - 2400 back and forth while i remain steady with the throttle. Almost seems like a fuel issue.... a lil gas, no gas, a lil gas no gas

And what's a TPS ? where is it and how do i replace it?

Also have a tranny leak and looking at possibly replacing the tranny ???

ok, check that... day light savings time... that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it...! it could be your lockup solenoid is going bad. 99% of the time though it's the TPS.

Just head to any car parts store and ask for a Thottle Position Sensor. It's a popular item.
