Default Left brake light and reverse light
I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd. I have checked the fuses and the lightbulb, but the drivers side lights will not work. Only the taillight does.

How do the sockets look? Are the tabs corroded and or bent so they don't make contact. Does the sleeve (insulation) of the wire look brittle and cracked?

Grab a factory service manual from the FAQ/DIY section of this forum, and do some troubleshooting. That's the answer to the question I assume you would have asked if you'd gotten around to it.
