EMS sells a one-piece axle.
I used an item called a "perm-lok" to permanently slide the collar over (google it). It's a lot cheaper and a lot less labor intensive to go this route vs. the solid axle. Once installed you can pull all your vacuum lines (and cap the one vacuum port).

I'm trying eliminate the whole folk engage four wheel deal the vacuum system is plugged and i have already welding the metal sleeve to inner shaft, and I was trying to find a one shaft to make my life easier.
