Default Removing dash

I am replacing my evaporator core in my 2001 Ram 1500 and to remove the dash I need to undo the five screws where the windshield meets the dash. Problem is someone glued a hard cover on to the cracked original dash so now I don't have access to those screw. Anyone have any ideas?

Ouch. I guess you will have to very carefully try and release the bonding agent. Maybe a heat gun or hair dryer would soften it enough to lift it.

The caps are (supposed to be) adhered with a perimeter bead of silicone.
But since the instruction weren't followed re trimming the screw holes, who knows how it was stuck down.
