You're in Oklahoma -- surely you can find a redneck engineer around there somewhere.

No imagination needed.

Get a small funnel, Put a small hose(one that will fit in the hole)on the end and the shop vac hose on the other end. I bit redneck but it will work.

Happens constantly in the south. Pine needless would be the biggest culprit. It's on the passenger floor when it backs up. I had this problem constantly with a Grand Cherokee I had. If you pull back carpet from the top of passenger side to bare metal you'd see a small hole, this where water backs up to. A flexible wire would push all kinds of sludge and broken down pine needles out the bottom. Then I'd flush with clean water from the top.

Usually had to do it once every year or two...

as unreg. user, pointed out, i am in oklahome with oakie thinking, lol the 1/2 hose was the first thing i tried, i think its still getting wet, it was dried, after two days of using ac it seems to be damp, not easy to tell yet, but anyway, the 1/2 hose was too snug, but i did use my oklahoma creativity and cut a garden hose, fits great, will that work, its snug but not tight, will stay on maybe a clamp, if it even works but i was thinking , can i just run water into it ? will that be the same as air, will it hurt anything ? thanks

This is where the drain goes through the firewall... the gasket between this and the firewall deteriorates, and allows the condensate dripping on the outside to run back inside under the carpet and onto the floor pan.
