Default PCV Valve Grommet confusion

Hi All,

1997 2500 4x4 here to ask about PCV valve (not crankcase breather unit) grommets.

The hole for the PCV valve in my passenger side valve cover is the same size as the hole for the metal crankcase breather unit in the right side valve cover. I ordered 2x Dorman 42344 (which are listed on rockauto as the valve grommet!!) not realizing this only fits the crankcase breather unit and not the OEM pcv valve I have in hand. Neither rockauto nor any parts house I can find distinguishes between the two. I attached a picture of the passenger side valve cover for reference. I'm pretty sure my valve cover is OEM, not some weird replacement, judging by the lack of front hole (which on the other side's cover is the oil filler cap location!). But it is weird as most of the pictures I saw when I searched showed people with a much smaller hole in the valve cover for the PCV valve.

Does anyone know if the OEM Dodge Part 53030017 is this large OD small ID part I am looking for?

Thanks,

nick
