i'm new on here and i'm sure if i searched it i would find the answer, but i'm a guy and like to do things the hard way. i've got a 01 sport 5.9 when i'm going up a small slope and the truck goes from 1st to 2nd it acts like it dosen't want to shift, it shudders and sounds like its slippen. if i get on it, it shifts fine, it may take a while to get out of 1st but it shifts smoothly through all the gears. it only does it when i'm creaping. PLEASE tell me its not trying to go out

 

sounds like a governor sensor problem, i'd take it to a tranny shop and have them look at it. and get a bigger tranny cooler and ditch the one in the radiator...

If you have the factory tow package you already have an auxilary tranny cooler besides the one in the radiator.
