Default Can I use two different shocks on my Ram?

I recently ordered new shocks for my 96 Ram 1500. The ones I ordered where Rancho RS5000x, It has a Rancho lift on it so I always use their shocks and have had no problems with the 5000's over the years. Anyway when I received the shocks the two rear ones where RS9000XL, and the two front ones where what I ordered the RS5000x. Can I go ahead and run these being different on the front or rear? Thanks for any input!

As long as they are the right length. Only difference is compression resistance of the shocks. Which is how well they absorb your bounce

I think they are basically the same shock. The online difference is that RS9000 is adjustable.

Hey thanks for the feedback, I went ahead and installed them just going to try to adjust the 9000's to match the feel of the 5000x's the best I can. Adjust the 9000's again if I'm towing anything.
