I put in one unit that is an alarm, keyless entry and remote start. It is pain looking up all the wiring in the service manual. If you are not good with wiring have someone install it for you. Make sure whatever you buy will work with your vehicle.

My biggest problem was with that C134 connector, but then, I didn't have as much wiring as you.

Yeah, I would recommend a professional too. Around here anyways, alarm + remote start + RKE you can usually get a decent one installed for under $300.

ok i installed a remote start system in an 1987 s-10 ( straight drive ) a 1999 firedbird with vats key system and a 1989 olds silhouette van i am very good at wiring and the ebayer promises the diagram for my truck plusi have access to alldata if needed. i was just wondering that since my keys arent coded i shouldnt need the bypass system right? local shop around here get over like the mob 450 for just remote start and keyless entry.

Nope, nothing to bypass. I have some wiring lists (which alarm wire to which/where truck wire) also.

you want to be careful the older dodge trucks have a funky system and depending on the setup you buy you may need some type of relay box to get it to work properly for the door locks...

Right, it's got the polarity switching system. Unless your alarm has it built in, you will need two additional 30a relays.

Gotcha my firebird had that and I kept blowing fuses and couldn't figure out why. I'll keep and eye out for that when installing. You guys recommend tach or voltage sense to stop starter from turning over?
