death flash question
My truck has the death flash program, and I was wondering if it can be reprogrammed with a chrysler computer?
The reason I ask is my brother is a chrysler tech and I have access to the drb hand held programmer. Can he overwrite the death flash? Thanks for your reply and sorry to ask a question as my first post.

you didnt mention what year your truck is, but if you think it has the death flash, you can buy a programmer (Hypertech, Superchips) and reprogram it and get some good results. another trick is to yank the crank sensor, slot the mounting holes, then re-mount it and slide it towards the inside of the engine (towards the drivers side). this will give you some extra timing across the whole rpm range and a boost in performance.
