Default NTK Oxygen sensor connector

Has anyone had a problem with the NTK Oxygen sensor connector being the wrong fit for the harness. I ordered the 23139 and 23140 for the upstream and downstream from rock auto. When I tried to connect them they wouldn't go in at all. I was able to look at the downstream one and the guides on the left and right don't line up at all. Where the guides should slide in on the connector are higher than what's on the harness. Of course this happened on a Friday, so it looks like I'm up creek on this one till Monday.

I don't know why but when I did my sensors (a few months apart) in my durango a couple years back the front and rear connectors are different, I had a NTK in the front and Mopar one in the rear. I would see if swapping them around would work

On my 96 the one plug is gray and the other is black. I did a lot of research before i bought mine. They also have the same sensor with longer wire length with a different part # of course. The ones i got are 23151 (back i believe) and 23014. Not sure if they changed the plugs on a 01?

It's all good now. In my attempt to save time and make this a quick job I took both sensors off at the same time, just had the connectors mixed up. Now that it's not running so fat it actually gets up to speed a lot better. Also helped smooth my idle out a little. The Bosch sensors were causing a P0133 code for a slow sensor response on bank one sensor one. Thanks for the help and sorry about the false alarm.
