I put a Vortech on mine about 3 1/2 years ago and still running strong. I think worth the price is probably an individual opinion but for me the performance was worth it. They are expensive but you get everything you need right there and if you add up all other mods you can rack up a fair amount of cash on them.I run 6 psi max tho have rarely hit that. I do recommend that if you run either a turbo or supercharger you should replace your head gaskets with Fel Pro #1008 or Cometic MLS head gaskets, I believe their have been a few people that have blown out their "Beer Barrel" manifold plenum gaskets also but Hughes Engines make a fix for that although I do not personally know how good it is. I run the M1 manifold and the updated Mopar HD heads on mine.

I have the new Mopar HD heads with the pressed in hardened exhaust seats like diesels and r/t heads have. These new heads even with the 1.9 valves flow better than an unported 2.02 r/t head and were actually a very good deal as they came with all new valves, seals, updated springs and new heads for $990.My original heads were cracked between the valve seats on 3 cylinders and as the intake and exhaust seats on original heads are both induction heat treated with no inserts they are very prone to cracking -here is a link for the #4666 heads-http://www.hughesengines.com/heads/hd_magnum_heads.asp

nice! have you thought about adding a heat shield and relocating the filter? or even an aftercooler? I'd bet that could help on power too.

I have the r/t heads with the 1.92's in there, have to keep the stock intake (really sucks) but i've been playing with the mods to them and cutting the runners down helps alot.

I would like to add an intercooler and Vortech makes one for the truck but I don't have the cash for it yet . I have contemplated relocating the air filter but have not done anything with it yet, that will be next springs project as it's starting to get pretty cold here in Utah now! I have actually been thinking about going back to the stock manifold to see how much more torque I would see versus what top end I would lose.

Very nice. I've been researching this pretty heavy in the last 3 months, and am planning to do this too, just saving up the coin.

I have read that is you go with a supercharger on a kegger manifold engines, you should switch to the M1 type intake. The plenum setup on the factory kegger just can't handle a supercharger, unless you have an affinity for changing your plenum gasket.
