My negative cable on the truck is starting to have a hold on the post so I go to Napa and later looked online to find same results. The only one they show is a single wire that is way to short. The original (I'm 90% sure it is) has The main cable and two smaller gauge wires coming off of it. At the parts store, I saw on the wall some cables that looked similar to what I need for about $25 but maybe not long enough. I did find a site that looks like they custom make cables and had one listed for $80+. I'm wondering if anyone had dealt with this and maybe found a cross reference from another truck that might fit what I need or if I might be able to just buy what I saw in the store and splice(bolt) an another cable together to reach where I need to run it


$80 for a cable seems a little crazy to me when I see comparable ones for a fraction of the price.


I'm asking about the bolting together an extension cable because I know how picky these trucks are about the battery connection being right on.


Trying to get away cheap with this.

 

Check with auto sound stores-shops.They most likely have what you need as they do custom installs of multi amps, do lots of wiring and post for thebatt..........
