I drive a 1998 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.2 magnum in it only has 138xxx miles was driving home tonight and out of no where it wouldn't shift into any gears no R, D, 3, 2, 1 none I coasted it to the side of the road where I waited for some one to tow me home the tranny never slipped before checked the fluid in neutral and was good and nothing smelt burnt could someone please help me

 

Do you have any codes? You may want to check to see if you have any fluid pressure on the trans. If not the pump may have gone. Also the check valve on the line near the cooler have been known to stick.
