New TPS...Does it matter which way you twist

Thanks Frankie.
From a few youtube clips I've seen and based on my experience replacing the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) today, when I removed the two screws the tps rotated CCW 1/8 of a turn and I pulled it straight out. I installed the new TPS at the same position then rotated it 1/8 turn CW and put the screws back in.
I found it odd there was no gasket or o-ring between the TB and TPS...not on my ole '96 at least.

Hey Frankie...you got me really thinking so I called my local dealer...
Talked to the parts guy (he didn't see a gasket on his parts list) who went and asked a tech...they do not use a gasket between the TB and TPS and the mopar TPS did not come with one.
Not to say that adding one would hurt AT-ALL, but when I pulled my old one off today it was essentially clean behind there (no previous gasket). The mounting surface was even clean.
Have a good weekend!
