Will a 99 Ram 2500 5.9 gas transmission work in a 99 Dakota R/T
I wasn't sure if I should post here or in the Dakota section. Both trucks are automatics with gas 5.9s and two wheel drive. I just need to know if the transmissions are the same and interchangeable, I'm not sure if the output shafts would be the same between the Ram and the Dakota. Thanks for the help.
The R/T's had 5.9's in them. Same as all the other 5.9's so it will work. The R/T means road or track, It was first used in the muscle car era and dodge brought it back.
