Ive got some rust on my 01 dodge 2500 rocker panels and was wanting to get some advice on how to replace them. I watched a youtube video with a guy replacing them on a silverdow and it looked pretty simple, just cut off the old and weld in the new but I know that its never that easy so I was hoping for some advice.

It's definitely a big job. I've attempted to do it once and I ended bringing it to the shop. Are you planning on just doing the outer or the outer and inner? Whats the floor look like? Do you have a decent welder? Auto panels warp extremely easy.
