I was wondering if anyone has some exact information on the supposed "death flash" that are on some of the rams. I have done a search on the net for more info. and have found nothing besides what is listed on the Dodge Forum. I am curious as to the exact reasoning for it. Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

The death flash was originally used by Chrysler to help eliminate the engine pinging problem they had on the Magnum engine. It took about 4 -6 degrees of timing out of the motor and remapped the injection.[:'(]
