how to do I change the transfer fluids in an automatic 1995 dodge dakota slt and what type of fluid should I use?

 

Your in the full size part of the forum, the dakota has it's own section. If it's the same as ours, you remove the drain plug from the transfer case. After it quits dripping, put the plug back in and fill with ATF until it runs out of the hole, put the fill plug back in and your done.

 

Before you remove the lower drain plug make sure you can remove the upper plug which is the fill hole. If you can't remove that one after you drain all the oil out you're going to be angry lol
