Default jump seat lid

How do you get the lid off the jump seat box?

Lol

It's like a piano style hinge. It has a rod that goes through eyelets on both the lid and console to hold it on. The rod has to be whacked out with a punch and hammer from one side. Trick is you need to pull the black bezel on the lid down at the back on either side slightly (so as not to break it) to expose the rod on one side, and to allow it to slide out on the other.

Cool that's what I figured when I looked at it. I'll spray some silicone on it to help it slide as well. I didn't want to bust up the new one when I removed it from the donner and swapped it on to mine.
Thanks
