So I was approached by a forum member to purchase his M1 from him because I had posted up that I was looking for one in the "For Sale" section. It then turned into that and a Procharger. I was communicating with him via email and we set up payment via Google Wallet after he showed me pics of the parts. He also has a website Rm-Indy.com which shows the motor. So I paid him over 2K last Wed and he verified that he recieved the payment and said he would ship it Saturday because of the weather.

That was the last I heard from him and that was last Thursday. I have sent several emails with no response. I am usually a patient guy but when you have over 2K of my money you better respond the same day. My cutoff date was tonight and tomorrow I will be filing a fraud complaint with Google and hopefully getting my money back. But in case that does not work I would like to ask for some help in locating this guy. His user name is Dodgeindy96 and his email address is gibertoyuerna@gmail.com. You can also check out the website to see if anyone has raced him or seen the truck before.

Hopefully there will be a happy ending to this but as for now I'm pretty upset and bummed out that this happend on this forum. I have be on forums for over a decade and have sold and purchased parts on all of them and this is the first that I have been ripped off. Ultimately the responsibility fall on me but none the less it sucks. I also want to make sure that no one else does business with this guy. Thanks for the help.

 

There was the same guy (i think) doing the same thing on another forum i'm on. He is NOT "RMINDY" as his name says. The real RMINDY used to post on these sites but has not been heard of for years.

It does appear that he is doing the same thing on the other forum. There are people looking into it as we speak. I have also filed a claim with Googlewallet with all the emails that prove my case. Now I just sit and wait.
