Default 1999 Dodge Ram 1500

Ok so I get in my truck and crank it up and it soon as i turn teh wheel it makes htis grinding noise. What could that be. It makes it rather im parked or moving. Its loud too. Soon as i turn the wheel. Then when I park it starts smoking then it stops. Anyone have any ideals on that.

Could be anything. Have you checked anything yet? Is this while in motion or sitting still? Have you looked for where the smoke is coming from?

The smoking may be the serpentine belt.
The grinding, hhmmmm, not sure, maybe the tensioner.

Without the smoke, I would say to check your front axle u-joints (if it's a 4wd).

Where is the grinding sound and smoke coming from?

Your description is pretty vague. Power steering pump could be going and grinding under load
