Default Oil Help

I recently bought a 98 dodge ram 1500 with a 360. Unfortunately, it didn't come with an owners manual and its hard to find good data online. Does anyone know the factory recommended oil type and the oil capacity on the 360?

Stock was 10w30 if I remember correctly, and capacity on mine is 5 quarts with filter.

As far as oil filters go use the larger fram PH8A (large style) filter. Chrysler got cheap and started using the small filters in the late 80's.

I ended up going with valvoline 10W-30 premium conventional with a Wix XP filter.
