Back in October I had a brand new ac compressor, accumulator, and condensor installed as well as a recharge everything was working fine and then it started acting wierd. For example It would work first start of the day but let's say I go inside a store for less than 5 minutes and come back the clutch wouldn't even engage and it was back to having the windows down. I live in south Florida and the ac worked at the worst times like in the morning or at night. Basically whenever it wasn't hot out that's when it would work. Makes sense right then these past few months it's been working perfect, everytime. Then recently the truck was sitting for about 2 weeks and when I tried to use the ac it would only work for about 5 minutes then stop for the rest of the day. Only time it works now is if the truck is dead cold again which isn't usually at night. Any ideas what could be goin on? Thanks for the input guys

 

Check the pressure. I'm wondering if it's not at the proper level. If not, check the pressure switches and make sure they aren't bad. I suspect you'll find your issue with one of those two things if it's the compressor that isn't coming on.
