Default Front brake hose difference

I'm looking on rockauto to buy two replacement front brake hoses and I'm finding alot of abs hoses but not alot for non abs. What are the difference between the two? Can i use abs hoses on a none abs truck? The truck is a 99 1500, 4x4 Laramie

There are 3 options. 2 wheels drive, 4 wheel drive with ABS, and 4 wheel drive without ABS. I just need to know if an ABS hose and a non ABS hose are the same for the front calipers

Do you have a local parts store in town, such as a NAPA? If so, I'd call the store to see what they have an take your existing brake line there to match it up.

My gut tells me that there is likely no difference between ABS vs. non ABS on the front 2nd gen RAMs, unless there is possibly a length difference, but its good to double check. For example, my truck is just rear ABS, but I have a HD front suspension. When I went to order my steel braided brake lines, I was sent the wrong lines. They were too short and not of better than OEM quality, so I ended up sending my factory brake lines to the vendor so that they could use them as templates to make up the proper steel braided versions.

the only thing that i think would be different is clips to hold the abs wiring harness. does the one on your truck look similar minus a clip?
