Default Shocks: monotube vs hydro

I have had the bilstein 5100s on the front of my ram for a few years now. They ride great, almost like a hydro shock. On the rear, I have the pro comp es9000 nitro charged. Been hearing clicking noises over bumps recently. Bushings are shot. Pretty much can replace all 4 shocks with the skyjacker hydros for the price of 2 more bilsteins for the rear. Are the skyjacker hydro shocks softer riding than the 5100s? My rear tires come off the ground with my rebuilt rear leafs and the stiff es9000s in the rear. Definitely wanting a softer ride. I'm on a 5" bds lift and 35s. Haven't posted here in years.

Steer clear from any Hydros!!!!

Mine rode like bricks and I always attributed it to the lift and springs but then I found "scratch/dent" M95s from Skyjacker for the same price as Hydros. WOW! What a difference! It rides like pillows now. Almost too soft.

Get M95s!
