Hey y'all. I've got the 01 ram 1500 4x4. I've got a loose shifter cable (dash doesn't read proper gear) usually only starts in neutral. boyfriend went and adjusted the shifter rod under the truck. It's also connected to the accelerator cable I guess and now my gas pedal is very stiff (moves about an inch inward) therefore the truck will go only about 20km. I've adjusted the same shifter rod to put it back to where it was. It only changes my shifter back to how it was to begin with but pedal is still buggered. Any thoughts?
