Leveling kit

Default Leveling kit

Just installed a 3inch front lift to level my truck. Getting new shocks, Do I need 4 new shocks? 02 dodge ram 2500 4wd

No just the fronts, if that.

Just the fronts will need to be replaced with longer units for up to 3" lift. If you don't, they will top out on bumps and either blow or give you terrible clunks.

The rears can handle quite a bit of lift. IIRC my rears are stock to 5" or something like that.

What you WILL want to get is an adjustable track bar to re-center the axle. Just slapping in a "level" kit is not good enough. Take a look at actual 3" lift kits and you'll see all the parts you should get to do it right. But it's an old truck, so who cares?
