Hi i recently had to get my rad repaired
drained it and took it and had fixed but after installed and running noticed the drain plug leaking out of the drsin pipe

Tried turning open closed couple times fixd it for a bit but leaking again

Can thr sesl be replaced does that turn **** pop out i guessing its o ring in there

 

Yes, it can be fixed. I believe there is a rubber washer that helps to seal the petcock to the radiator. You should be able to find one on the HELP parts aisle at your local auto parts store.

so to get it out i dont wanna pull the rad back out.. i twist the **** to let the fluid drain out do i grab pliers to pull out the **** or does it turn out more to pop out or a special lock that holds them in?

 

Yes, you should be able to just turn the **** until it comes out of the radiator. Some may have a piece of nylon to help keep the petcock with the radiator, but I typically tug on the petcock and it will come out. No need to remove the radiator to remove the petcock.

 

awesome ill try it tommorow and is it just an o ring or nylon thing.. is it called a rad o ring seal or so when i goto canadian tire

 

Should be a rubber washer that fits around the threads of the petcock.
