Smile Finally fixed all the bugs

So I've been posting different issues I've had for 1+ years about this truck. Rebuilt the motor, trans, rear etc. and It always had 2 problems which bugged the crap out of me. First was that between 40 and 60 it had what I called a miss. It would get a bump every few minutes which felt like an engine miss but I knew it wasn't because I couldn't hear it in the exhaust and the tach stayed solid. I finally figured it had to be the TC unlocking and relocking for a 1/2 second. Also had an issue where I could start and drive the truck anywhere I wanted from 5 minutes to several hours and it ran fine the whole time except for the occasional "bump" mentioned earlier. After I got to my destination and shut the truck off, everything was fine but the issue came on the re-start. I had to turn the key to the "on" position and wait there till all the lights went off in the dash just like a diesel. As long as I did that everything was fine most of the time. If I didn't and just put the key in and started it, the truck would run like crap. It would miss and lope and if you walked behind it you could smell it running very rich. I had replaced every sensor including IAC, both O2 sensors with NTK units, map sensor, coil, plugs, wires, cam sensor and had a shop scan it. The shop scan did turn up a bad #4 injector which I had replaced but the problem persisted and they had no idea what else it could be even though they were a very good shop and I trust them for multiple reasons. They did suggest a possible ECM issue although they couldn't "prove it". After I had enough, I sent my ECM off to SIA electronics which I found on ebay. They charge $115 to diagnose and repair the ECM and they cover the shipping back to you. You just have to pay to ship it to them which only cost me another $20 to do with insurance and tracking. They also give you a lifetime warranty on the ECM after they repair it. It took 2 weeks but they put the ECM through the testing and found that there was a heat related failure which forced them to clean the board, re-solder all the components and update the software. I got it back and it has been great. No more "misses" or what I called "bumps" between 40 and 60 and best of all, I can get in the truck any time and hit the key and it starts up and runs fine without any of the missing or rough idle I used to have. I wish I had found them a long time ago because even though I am glad to have all the new sensors now, I could have saved a bunch of $$. If anyone is interested you can get them at www.siaelectronics.com and they can repair any Dodge ECM. They also have a discounted rate if your ECM is just trash and can't be fixed. They also fix a bunch of other "sensor" and "module" stuff. Just thought I would pass on a good thing I found. If you like and can use it good, if not, don't dog me out with a bunch BS crap because my stuff works good and I don't care to spend time worrying about whining a-holes.
