Default 2001 to 2004 Drivetrain Swap

Needing to replace stock 2001 1500 5.9 Magnum 4x4 entire rear differential with 4.11 gears. Just so happens a friend just totaled rolled her stock 2004 1500 5.7 Hemi 4x4 and is parting out. I would be interested in her engine, lift, wheels, and drivetrain. Will any of these swap without issue? If you feel I am missing more information here, let me know.

Absolutely not the engine/tranny need either a custom harness made (you can buy one premade for $1500). Plus you need the computer for the hemi, the gas pedal (they are drive by wire system). The lift no completely different suspension. Here's is IFS yours is straight axle

Wheels will fit. Any Ram from 84-current has the same bolt pattern as long as it's the same model (ex: 1500 & 1500)

Thanks so much. I figured it was an idea too good to be true.

Not to good to be true as I'm doing it but it's costly unless you build your own harness.

We are up on the Mendocino coast, north of San Fran by just over 2 hours. I know she was asking $3,500, but is desperate at this point. Truck was rolled by boyfriend. All panels except hood are damaged. Let me know if youre really interested.
