Default Intermitttent Wipers

Had my coworker start my truck the other day after work when we had some freezing rain. I wanted the windshield to defrost a little bit. I had forgotten I left my wipers on an intermittent setting and were never turned off. Being that they were frozen to the winshield, it was about 30 minutes before I was able to get into my truck. Now the intermittent wipers do not work, only low and high. I hear the normal click under the dash as I would always hear when I turn them on, just no action until I turn them on continuous low or high.

My question is, what possibly blew? I still need to check fuses, but I know intermittent functions work through the CTM, but as I am still hearing the click under the dash when I turn intermittent on, would it be in the wiper motor itself?

Thanks!

Lesson #1: Don't let anybody start your truck!

If ice wrecked your motor, then it's time to replace it. If it burned the switch somehow being frozen, time for a new multi-function switch (aka turn signal).
