Personally I do and don't. On a truck not really on a car yeah.

There is a pin on the front side of the portioning valve behind a rubber boot. Put your finger on it n push inward aggressively. Sometimes that pin gets stuck n can set off the ABS/Brake light. NOTE:Use the butt of a screwdriver if you can't get it to move with your finger...just don't pond on it. If this is the problem then it's a parking lot fix n most importantly...FREE!
