Default Clinking in engine

While driving sometimes I will hear a faint clinking sound in the engine... I am assuming its cheap gas or something, ive heard it before in my grandpas dodge....Never heard it in any other kind of vehicle though that I can recall.... Anyone know what it is?

Clicking could be the injectors or maybe the A/C compressor clicking on and off while you run your defrost or A/C. Bad gas would have a differant sound, not a clicking. Just a couple guess's, maybe someone else knows more
