Default 3.9 V-6 how much can I pull

I have a 1995 1500 Ram long bed regular cab with 5 speed and the 3.9 V-6 I believe it has 3.20 gears but not sure. I have only pulled a little boat with it. I am wanting too pull a ford Ranger 4x4 on a car hauler I really dont think this truck with V-6 will handle the weight but what is the most weight I can pull.[sm=confused06.gif]

I'm gonna guess that it's around 3500-4000lbs.

Like he said, it would be listed in your manual (if you have one).

The book does say 3,500 I think but sometimes those ratings are really more than the truck can handle I was just wondering what everbody thought. Have too load it up and try it.

The ratings in owners manuals, warning stickers, etc. are ALWAYS underrated to protect the manufacturer from stupid people and their frivolous lawsuits.
