Default Tow mirror repair

So I bought a set of decent second hand tie mirrors for my truck (35$ for both is a steal) put them on the ram and some a** hat folded the drivers side forward towards the windshield and now the joint is loose, how do I remedy this? Is there a way to pop it back down or something? It’s gapping is noticably larger than before

I don't think those joints are repairable. My driver side tow mirror is a little loose in that joint too.
