If you have a sport model you want 98-2001(can go to 2002 if 2500/3500). But anything from 95-2001 (again 2002 if the truck is a 2500/3500) the only difference is the 95-97 fenders headlight hole (where the wires come through for the headlight) need to be cut a little wider if you have the sport, if you don't you are fine).

Yeah it's just a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup. Got it from a farmer for doing a a bathroom renovation. A Grain truck backed into it and give it a Salvage title everything is pretty solid on the truck. Just contemplating price and all to fix it though and just not much info on what fits and what years. So 1500 parts don't fit...? Theres alot of those parts floating around for dirt cheap...

The hood and front fenders are the same for 1500/2500/3500 2nd gen trucks. The only difference I've seen is the headlight opening in the back, which can be remedied by cutting open the smaller hole in the back for headlight clearance.
