Default Intense Performance

I'm considering switching CAI's. I have a K&N FIPK now, but I've recently done some head work and am considering something else that would either provide more airflow or a cooler air-charge. I'm looking hard at intense performance products. Anyone have experience with these or other hi-flow CAI's?

The K&N should still be sufficient, even with headwork. Using a powerstack filter (instead of a K&N conical filter) would improve your flow.

The intense setup uses a metal intake tube, and thus is more susceptible to heat soak than the K&N FIPK is. If you want to get a colder charge, you should isolate the filter from the engine even more than it is already with the FIPK. You could also wrap the tube in some insulation.
